Our People Handling course includes everything that you require to deliver a course that is equivalent to the Level 3 Award in Moving People Safely RQF/QCF. Topics include; importance of training, legislation, risk assessment, potential risks and injuries, anatomy of the spine, correct lifting techniques, importance of communication, and moving and handling aids (e.g. hoists).
When you use this resource to deliver a People Handling course, your learners will:
- Understand the personal safety, health and dignity issues relating to the movement of a person by others
- Understand how a personal handling plan and risk assessment reduce the risk of injury to everyone involved in moving a person
