The National Minimum Training Standards for Healthcare Support Workers | Health and Social Care Training

Following the announcement of the National Minimum Training Standards for Healthcare Support Workers, Guardian Angels Training has developed a number of health and social care training solutions that addresses the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers, the Common Induction Standards, the National Minimum Training Standards and the Health Technical Competences for Support Workers. The health and social care training courses have been designed by Health and Social Care Practitioners and Educators to ensure that we deliver a cost effective and quality training solution that is fully aligned to the principles of protecting the public by promoting best practice and therefore ensure that all of our CQC Care training courses provide evidence toward demonstrating CQC compliance.

Our health and social care training courses aim to ensure that Healthcare Support Workers are working to defined standards, providing high quality and compassionate care and support. Upon completion of our Health and Social Care training solutions, the employer and the public can be confident that workers providing care are trained to a high standard in key areas and that they have the right level of knowledge to provide high quality person centered care.

Further, Guardian Angels Training has worked with Awarding Bodies to ensure that our training packages;

  1. meet the requirements of the new training standards;
  2. are aligned with the RQF (QCF) qualifications for Health and Social Care, and;
  3. can also be delivered in partnership with our RQF (QCF) Diplomas

RQF (QCF) Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 2 or Level 3)

The RQF (QCF) Diplomas in Health and Social Care are nationally recognised qualifications based on the Health and Social Care National Occupation Standards. The diploma confirms knowledge, skills and competence for individuals working within care settings. Healthcare Support Workers have the opportunities to train towards and gain a qualification in health and social care, or they may follow a specialist pathway in areas such as Dementia or Learning Disabilities.
