What is a care certificate and why do you require one?
The care certificate must be legally provided to all new staff who are working under a Registered Health and Social Care Provider. The e-course module care certificate is an online learning course and assessment system which ensures staff have the right knowledge to achieve the full care certificate.
Who should take the online course?
This course acts as an induction learning and assessment programme for anybody who has just started working in the health and social care sector. These are the people who are working as healthcare assistants, practitioners and social care workers in nursing homes, hospitals or residential homes.
What is covered in the Care Certificate course?
We’ve set out 15 modules to cover the complete care certificate. Modules from understanding your role, duty of care, equality and diversity, communication and so on. These modules have an approximate time of only 20 minutes, each module consists of quizzes and other assessment activities to test the trainee’s understanding.
What you will achieve?
Once the programme has been completed, the trainees would have met the knowledge requirement for obtaining the complete care certificate. You then assess and observe the competence and elements in their workplace, utilising our free assessor’s proformas to assist you. Once approved, the certificate will be awarded by the employer.
